December 2 - A Day of Giving
During the holiday season, we have one day for giving thanks and three days for getting deals: Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday. This year, you can help create a new day for giving back on Tuesday, December 2.
Our goal is to raise $4,000 on December 2 to make Christmas bright for 325 low-income people by sharing a very special holiday meal on Christmas day.
This dinner is an expression of care to those who lack a proper kitchen, cooking equipment, utilities or whose circumstances otherwise prevent them from sharing Christmas dinner in their home. Many of our guests this day are children.
Your contribution of $12.50 will provide one guest with:
- A high-quality and hearty traditional Christmas dinner with all the trimmings cooked from scratch: Turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, cranberries, bread and pie (of course!). All is lovingly prepared and served on china with table linens by SnowCap volunteers.
-
Toys and gifts for the children
-
Socks and hygiene supplies
-
Hope, dignity and respite on this special day from the struggles that each guest is facing.
We hope you'll join millions of others across the country and make a difference on Tuesday, December 2. Not only will you be a part of a movement that is changing lives, but by making a gift to SnowCap on #GivingTuesday, you'll directly help low-income people during this special season.
